Anti-Spatter/Separating agents

Especially for the welding of pre-heated metal sheets, for multi-layer welding and for the welding of thin sheets we recommend Metaflux 75-03 Multi-TS H.

Metaflux 75-03 Multi-TS H is supplied as ready-to-use liquid. Variation in quality due to self-mixing can thus be avoided. This product is non-flammable. It offers good working conditions: no odour, no hazardous vapours (it is free of oil and chlorinated solvents which at high temperatures could form benzo[a]pyrene and phosgene, it is CFC- and silicone-free) and, its environmental impact is low.

Apply it with an "eco-sprayer" working with compressed air or a hand-triggered spray bottle from Metaflux. The latter is easy to handle even with welding gloves on. Approximately 10 re-fills are possible if operated correctly,  under normal working conditions and, its nozzle gives a very fine vapour.

Metaflux 75-03 Multi-TS H forms a film which prevents welding beads from adhering to the metal. It has an excellent separating effect when applied very thinly. Metaflux 75-03 Multi-TS H is economical in use and gives good welding results.

Wash off with Metaflux 75-25 Universal Cleaner or Metaflux 75-32 Universal Cleaner Special before painting. Galvanizing without additional preparation. Alternatively, use 70-04/300 ml Anti-Spatter Spray. It is non-flammable too and contains neither silicone nor chlorinated solvents/propellants. It is free of VOC as per US-American definition.

Electro-welding: Just a fine spray prevents adhesion of weld spatter along welding seams. Shielded arc welding: Also use it to keep nozzles clean. After welding, simply wash off with warm water. Galvanizing without additional preparation.
